Recently we were driving back from Moa Flat toward Heriot when we got these dramatic views looking over toward the Blue Mountains at Tapanui. We knew the light wouldn’t last long and Nigel quickly took a shot through the windscreen (1st photo below) and the other two were taken outside of the car. West Otago, New Zealand.

Love the way areas are spotlit – makes them very intriguing. I used to love watching the light change over the low hills where I was brought up and this reminds me of that.

The sky was real moody and we didn’t expect the light to last, sure enough after the 3rd pic the light disappeared.
