A herd of raucous young cattle approached from far away - to stand and stare at us from the fence - bellowing in unison. The noise was unbelievable.

Leonohebe cupressoides

Hebe /Veronica sp., a NZ native plant, Leonohebe cupressoides. We found this one growing in West Otago just outside a farm boundary fence, 29 Dec 2022. It was covered in flowers, attracting lots of insects!

Bay For Boats

Driving back from Aramoana to Port Chalmers on 31 March 2023, we stopped to look at boats. I was delighted to find lots of dinghies in colourful array but especially the bright orange one floating out on the water. Otago harbour, Dunedin. New Zealand.

Autumn Rainbow

After an appointment I walked out to find a wonderful rainbow - it's hung about for hours. These pics were taken from home. It changes continually depending on the sun/drizzle levels. Fades away.. returns. Fun!
