It’s nice to know you like this Ellen.. I can be a bit reluctant to post ferns as they’re common here but I’m also aware they’re not that common to many folks outside of NZ/Australia!
We see a lot of them of different types-I know nothing of their identification. And somehow don’t attempt photographing them much but I’m very attracted to the green and to their forms.
It’d be interesting if you’d consider taking some photos of the ferns you see Ellen, if you’re able to some time.. I’d love to see the size and form of the ferns in your part of the world!
Hahaha! I occasionally got hold of a Casper comic when I was a kid and loved them. Reading the info in your link, the scene in my photo corresponds really well 😀 “Casper lives in the Enchanted Forest with The Ghostly Trio”.. I don’t remember this but it’s just right for my pic! Thanks Linda.

You’ve reminded me I took some images yesterday of Resurrection Fern on brick, rather than a tree branch. You’ll be seeing something from that soon!
