Last night I made a start on tidying my Gmail account (it'll be a long process). In a folder of 'Keepsakes' I found a message Nigel sent me, 31 March 2010. For more plant info, see this blogpost by a fellow NZer. In the same cemetery there's also a Sorbus with white berries that I posted... Continue Reading →

As we drove home via Moa Flat on 02 April I spotted a fuzz of pink and suspected the pretty fruits of Euonymous. Love their bright colour in autumn! A wild bush growing in the roadside verge. West Otago, New Zealand. Photo taken by Nigel.
This pink blossom was a stunning sight as we walked up Braids Hill to the beach access walking path. I've noticed it before from the car while driving past and relished the opportunity to now spend time there and take photos, as did Nigel. Wonderful too, to see pink blossom in autumn! Ocean View, Dunedin,... Continue Reading →

This morning I was surprised by a colourful sky outside and Nigel told me he'd already taken a photo. The colours were less bright by the time I got out but I still got a couple of interesting shots. The first pic is the bright shot taken by Nigel, looking east to the Blue Mountains... Continue Reading →
