Wedding anniversary today! So we did a long drive into Central Otago ~ but I took this photo 24 November. Deep red rosebud ready to open, red mature rose blurred behind the bud, scattered soft-focus white roses in background (they're tinged palest pink in the centre). Alexandra public gardens, Central Otago, New Zealand.

The first church featured below had St Andrew's | "The Little Stone Church" printed on its sign board. The second stone church was located very near. Hidden Colour. Glimpses of bright colour through trees revealed the presence of these colourful tulips - they were further along the same road as my recent big tulip-block photos - but single fields - and on the opposite side of the road.
