Canary Island Strawberry Tree

Love these gorgeous orange 'strawberry' fruit on Arbutus canariensis in Dunedin Botanic Garden, beside a path in the rock garden. We were there on 07 May 2022, autumn here in New Zealand. Midnight

I'm referring to a Mexican bush sage named Salvia leucantha 'Midnight'. There's a wonderful bush in a flower bed at Dunedin Botanic Garden, New Zealand. Helichrysum argyrophyllum

+600 species of Helichrysum occurring worldwide.~244 found in southern Africa. Helichrysum is derived from the Greek "helios" ~sun and "chrysos" ~gold, referring to the colour of many of the flowers of species in this genus. Info from..
