In Dunedin Botanic Garden on 24 March I found these bold and bright yellow dahlias, one of my favourite flowers that I see bloom each year. I’ve often had problems with their reflectivity but this day was just right for photographing them! 🙂 Dunedin, New Zealand.
Taken with my cellphone, I’m slowly getting a bit of an idea on how to use it lol.

Yes it is Tanja! They’re what you might call ‘generous’ flowers 🙂

Thanks Donna! Somehow this comment went to Spam and I’ve no idea why that would’ve happened.

👍 I seem to be quirky lately with going to the spam folder with others too. Not sure why. I just posted another comment on yours. Let me know if it went to spam too. Thanks, Liz!!!

You’d hope once I’ve fished you out of Spam and re-instated you that WP wouldn’t go and put you back in Spam again.. so far so good! I’ll have to keep an eye on that Spam folder and what’s going on in there!

Yellow is hard. Yesterday I was trying to capture some at high noon with clear blue skies — the results landed in the metaphorical dustbin!

Oh dear! but it’s some comfort knowing I’m not the only one afflicted with such difficulties!

Doesn’t get much brighter than sunny yellow. Still muddy and chilly here so that’s encouraging, Liz.
