Companion planting, seen today on our local walk. Tapanui, West Otago, New Zealand. LOL!
I’m reminded of ‘The Pale Green Pants‘ by Dr Seuss that spooked me a bit as a kid ~this blogpost has it.

How funny and merry-making, Liz. The next time you see the owner, you could thank her/him for spreading cheer. 🙂

Yes! Didn’t spot them outside at the time we passed by.

LOVE the photos! This is creative gardening at its best! It evoked a favorite quote by Sensui Ogui in the June 1998 book “Zen Shin Talks” : “A flower does not think of competing to the flower next to it. It just blooms.” How I would enjoy “planting” myself betwixt these two companions and “blooming” there for just a moment…or two! Thank-you!

😀 .. the lady who used to be at this property had it on the market so I’m assuming it sold and this is an amusing and creative addition by new folks!
