  1. I once made the mistake of planting some vetch in our yard that a customer gave me after a furniture delivery. It was very aggressive and almost impossible to get rid of. When weeding even the slightest root hair is all it takes to repopulate a garden. I complain about it every year…I guess you could say it causes me to kvetch. 🙂 It does have a lovely flower.

  2. Just this weekend, I noticed one of our common vetches popping out everywhere. It’s a blueish-purple, and while you can’t see the details of the flowers from the highways, the color is like a blue cloud floating above the ground.
