I wanted to share this wonderful beauty with you for Easter. In New Zealand it’s now late afternoon on Good Friday – for many of you this post will be in time for your Good Friday. This is a reblog of The Good Shepherd by Candia from Candia Comes Clean
When I requested permission to reblog, Candia responded with the following..
“Yes, do. Am glad you enjoyed it. I was so moved by it. Tom Denny’s work is in Gloucester Cathedral too.” — Candia

He looks like a real shepherd, not the drippy hippy type that you see in Sunday School books.

What a lovely photo of this beautiful stained glass window. I find it interesting that it is not the traditional figure of Christ as the Good Shepherd, being as this is in a church. I would really like to see more of Tom Denny’s art. I hope that Nigel and you have a wonderful first Easter celebration in your new home. Thank-you! P.S. I am hoping that you will send me an email address, as there is something that I would like to send to you.

Candia posted another photo of a different window by Tom Denny in the post that followed this one. “Pilgrim” at https://candiacomesclean.wordpress.com/2019/04/17/pilgrim/ I’ll email you so that you have my email address. Have a lovely Easter Ellen!
