On Sunday 13 May we walked across the supermarket carpark in Gore and noticed this painted wall. Nigel immediately commented on it being a ‘silver fern’ shopping trolley, and so it is! The silver fern icon is the body of the trolley with little circles added to show the handle and the wheels. Kiwi as!

No, there’s no trolley area near that wall, only carpark. I guess it just covers an otherwise blank wall and helps get some attention to the supermarket itself. The main entrance is a short distance away, to the left of the photo.
