Exploring Colour 
I asked my husband if he knew what year this car was from. He thought it was from the late 60s. It’s sure we’ll preserved, unlike me!

If I had seen the owners I would have asked them the year but I suspect they were in the cafe and we only saw the car as we were leaving the cafe.

Looking at some of your previous posts, the thought crossed my mind that your photos could have been taken in some western American towns. The Chevy confirms that impression, Liz!

Hi Tanja, you’ve hit the nail on the head! In April 2015 Tapanui became the location for ‘Millhaven’ an Oregon town, in the movie ‘Pete’s Dragon’ and Robert Redford was in town! It was big news down south at the time. You can read about it here http://www.millhaven.nz/ When they say that they initially considered the Burnside Freezing Works (Dunedin) its interesting because Burnside is where we lived before we moved to Gore.
