Today we paid a brief visit to Gore Public Gardens, Southland, New Zealand. Gore has a lovely, well-cared for public garden that is always a joy to visit. This afternoon was grey and drizzly so we didn’t spend much time there but this particular garden bed really captured our attention. It had white tulips under-planted with a plant that has small white flowers – I think they’re white forget-me-nots.
The white-on-white effect was really stunning!

They shone in the grey afternoon 🙂 I wouldn’t have thought white-on-white would be so great! Always learning!

Thanks Simone! Just let me see how I get on today. Heap of stuff going on right now and we had a power outage for much of yesterday which didn’t help!
