I’ve been quietly collecting black and yellow images for a few weeks and now, having got permissions sorted, it’s my great pleasure to present to you:

“How much pollen can a bee transport at one time? As it circled the inside of a sunflower, this bee filled the pollen baskets on its hind legs with so much bright yellow pollen that I was afraid it would not be able to lift off and fly away. In addition to the very full pollen baskets, which looked like cotton candy to me, the bee was virtually covered with grains of pollen. My fears proved to be unfounded, and the overladen bee was able to carry away its golden treasure.”  — Mike Powell

    1. Its a beautiful site and I could spend hours there! Thank you, I didn’t know about it! Wish me luck as I’m one of four presenters at an art gallery tomorrow – talking about Colour and my experience of blogging. I’ve only spoken publicly in my life about twice, years ago, and hated it. Third time lucky perhaps, I’ve gained in confidence this last year doing the blogging 🙂

      1. Good Luck Liz. I’m hoping you write a post all about it and take lots of photos of the art gallery. You’ll be great. I’m stoked you like the site. I get lost there too. Love the combinations and the photos. Blissful.

        1. Hi Nat! Thought I’d check my spam and was amazed to find the two comments of yours that had got ‘lost’. Heavens knows why they went to spam. Anyway, thanks for your lovely comments and encouragement, really appreciated them!

        1. Watercolours can be very special indeed! Hey, I’ve been meaning to ask you if you’ve looked at Rebecca Baumann’s art. She did an installation in our art galley here and I’ve looked at some of her work on the internet. I think she comes from Perth!
