Yesterday we walked through the Clive Lister Garden, a small garden that’s part of the Dunedin Botanic Garden. We found a mixed planting of snowdrops and black ophiopogon (black mondo grass). They worked very well together.
The path in the above photo curves around to a small bridge.
Bridge and pond in background.
Looking toward the pond.
Same path in opposite direction with my SO taking his photos. See yesterdays image post for one of his photos.
Closer shot of the snowdrops and black mondo grass.

Love black mondo grass, have some growing over here in England. Feeling inspired to plant some snowdrops!

Thank you Pete! We also went to Larnach Castle y’day and they had lovely snowdrops too. Makes us feel that spring is getting closer. Can’t wait!

It will be there before you know it, as autumn is surely coming down the garden path here, getting ready to rap on the door.

Autumn is a beautiful season. We often get the best weather then.
