REBLOG: I’ve never seen anything like these colourful buildings so I’ve decided for today’s post to simply reblog this post (which I only found this morning).

    1. Serious restrictions on colour choices make for very boring landscapes. In NZ, Queenstown has extensive areas designated ONL (Outstanding Natural Landscape) where buildings have to “blend in”. Boring and dreary. Buildings lose all definition.
