Red has always been my favourite colour and I’ve been hunting out some “red” photos for today’s post. Cheers me up on a cold, gray, wet winter’s day!
Beautiful building and lovely pub to visit. Amazing plaster work inside, and chandeliers. Looks very grand! They have a great array of beers on tap but I can’t comment further as I’m not a beer drinker. Their food platter is fantastic with a tasty range of cheeses, meats, fruits and condiments. The window boxes sport a display of colourful cyclamens.
The Ferrari was on display at Crankup, Edendale, Southland, NZ
Red perfection in the form of stunning Boston Ivy covering a wall in the small town of Wyndham in Southland, NZ
Autumn 2017 was a great season for seeing red toadstools in Dunedin.
One spring we sowed wildflower seeds and these flowers were part of the show. This was my favourite poppy and the photo brings a smile to my face every time I look at it.
The haze of blue forget-me-nots beneath the red tulips make a very attractive combination (probably taken in Gore Public Garden, Southland)
When we lived in the Catlins we grew this beautiful bright gazania in our garden (until a very cold and wet winter was too much for it).
